Here's a look at our intended route:
The plan is to fly into St. Thomas (the blue dot) and catch a ferry over to Tortola into Road Town where we will charter the catamaran "Hakuna Matata". We'll stay there for a long day and provision the boat with food, sun screen, and lots and lots of hand sanitizer since there are crew members that have a bizarre penchant for petting stray island cats. (ewww!)
Then we'll set sail on our intended route marked on the map above. Planned routes are always interesting due to things like weather, crew attitudes, and islands that really perk our interest or ones that have nothing of interest dictate how long we stay or how fast we leave. Most times we find the best places to sail by talking with other cruisers who are eager to point us towards an island or spot that's really a hidden gem. Longer passages like up north to #6 Anegada or #10 Vieques also depend on who's up for a longer passage and who's up for taking a night watch shift if we make an overnight passage.
We'll see where the trade winds take us.

Jealous, Jealous, Jealous!!!
